Choosing a mixing paddle length

The paddle should comfortably reach the bottom of the vessel while keeping your hands clear of steam. At 600mm, this paddle suits medium stock pots, bratt pans and sauce kettles up to around 50 litres; for deeper vats step up to our 1050mm version, and for jacketed kettles above 150 litres choose a paddle of 1.2m or more.

Care and cleaning

Rinse immediately after use in starchy or sugary mixes, then wash normally or run through the dishwasher. Hang by the handle hole to air-dry.

Choosing the Right Mixing Paddle Length

For stock pots, bratt pans and large sauce pans, a 600mm stainless steel paddle gives good reach without the weight of longer paddles. It is ideal for small-batch production, sauce stations and prep teams working with open pans where precise control matters.

If you cook in larger vessels, compare this with our 1050mm mixing paddle to match the tool to your pot size. Both are food-grade stainless steel and built for daily commercial use.
