Mixing Paddle Stainless Steel 1050mm, Food grade

~Used in commercial food processing and food manufacturing for mixing sauces, barters etc

Built for large-batch cooking and food production, this 1050mm stainless steel mixing paddle reaches the bottom of stock pots, kettles and mixing vats that ordinary spoons cannot. The flat blade keeps sauces, stews, jams and porridges moving across the base of the vessel, preventing catching and scorching during long cooks.

Choosing a mixing paddle length

The paddle should comfortably reach the bottom of the vessel while keeping your hands clear of steam and splashes. At 1050mm, this paddle suits 50-100 litre pots, bratt pans and brew kettles; for smaller stockpots a shorter paddle gives better control, while jacketed kettles above 150 litres generally call for a paddle of 1.2m or more.

Why stainless steel over wood?

Wooden paddles are porous – they absorb moisture, flavours and bacteria, and most food-safety auditors no longer accept them in commercial production. A one-piece stainless paddle is non-porous, dishwasher safe, and cannot splinter into product. The flat blade profile also scrapes the vessel floor more effectively than a rounded spoon, preventing catch-and-burn in thick mixes like pap, samp, sauces and confectionery.

Care and cleaning

Rinse immediately after use in starchy or sugary mixes, then wash normally or run through the dishwasher. Hang by the handle hole to air-dry.
